Welcome Victoria!

Shortly after my last post about still being pregnant, I went into labor and a fun twenty two hours later, baby Victoria made her entrance into this world. I had a completely natural childbirth experience which was already challenging going in because c-sections and epidurals are very popular here. In fact, I was kind of the weird gringa who was requesting a natural birth and had to search for a doctor open to the idea and I wasn't sure how it would pan out. In the end, it ended up being even longer and harder than expected because of Victoria's positioning. But, I did it! Here are some photos!

Proud Grandma who arrived the same day we got home from the hospital (great timing, especially considering she bought her plane ticket months ago not knowing exactly when the baby would be born!):

In this photo you can also see the lovely fireplace and mantel in our house:

I know I have been bad about blogging... Olivia got sick. I got sick. And now... we are waiting for our new little baby to make her appearance. I have a bunch of stuff to share so let's see if I get it on here before the baby comes!
Here is a cool photo Fernando took of the sailboat anchored near our house. Check out the mountains in the background on Tierra del Fuego:
